This specimen was lot 674 in Goldberg Sale 150 (Los Angeles, February 2026), where it sold for $5,100. The catalog description[1] noted, "Canada. 50 Dollars Maple Leaf, 2009. 1 Ounce, 9999. Elizabeth II. Reverse; Maple Leaf. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated." This type was struck 2004-13. A palladium version also exists.
Recorded mintage: 1,011,235.
Specification: 31.10 g, 0.999 fine gold, 30 mm diameter, 1.000 troy oz AGW, reeded edge, designed by Susan Taylor, Susanna Blunt and Walter Ott.
