This specimen was lot 70354 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2021), where it sold for $2,160. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. Palladium 50 Dollars, 2009. Ottawa Mint. NGC MS-69. APdW: 0.999 oz. One of first 1,000 struck, this bright reverse proof presents highly polished fields with no evidence of any color of haziness." Thirteen years after its issue, this coin still is not in the SCWC, which notes four palladium fifty dollar coins of 2006 (KM 672 thru 675).

Recorded mintage: 1,031,271.

Specification: 31.10 g, 0.999 fine palladium.
