The first specimen was lot 71204 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2019), where it sold for $504. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. Dollar, 2007. Ottawa Mint. NGC PROOF-70 Ultra Cameo. Baby Rattle type. A SCARCE and elusive variety for the serious collector of Canadian coinage, this piece represents absolute perfection, with a deep cameo appeal and enticing frosted devices. From the Mayer Collection of Canadian NGC Registry Sets." The second specimen was lot 71207 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2019), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. Dollar, 2007. Ottawa Mint. NGC PROOF-68 Ultra Cameo. Gold-plated Baby Rattle type. A rather RARE issue, this piece was only offered in a special proof set and features a gold-plated baby rattle. Extremely brilliant with an exceptional cameo nature. From the Mayer Collection of Canadian NGC Registry Sets."

Recorded mintage: 3,207 plus 1,911 in gilt silver.

Specification: 7 g, 0.925 fine silver, 0.208 troy oz ASW, 26.5 mm diameter.
