The profits extracted from the manufacture and sale of NCLT's caused the Royal Canadian Mint to scramble for ever more arcane topics, including this one honoring the Mounties and the Vancouver Olympics. We leave the reader to decide the relevance of the design to the topic. Eight thousand were authorized but not all sold.
