This specimen was lot 20311 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Anaheim, CA, August 2016), where it sold for $1,292.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. 10 Cents, 1871-H. PCGS MS-63 Secure Holder. From the Heaton Mint and in CHOICE MINT STATE. Lightly toned with attractive underlying luster." The type was struck in 1858 and 1870-1901. Despite the ample mintage, this date and the accompanying 1871 are somewhat scarce.

Specification: 2.31 g, 0.925 fine silver, .069 troy oz ASW, 18 mm diameter, reeded edge.
