This specimen was lot 1618 in Sedwick Treasure Auction 28 (Winter Park, FL, November 2020), where it sold for $132. The catalog description[1] noted, "Buenos Aires, Argentina, copper 5/10 real, 1830, NGC AU 58 BN, ex-O'Brien. Very lightly handled with some speckles of original red luster, rims a bit crude as made. Pedigreed to the John O'Brien collection (stated on label)." This type was struck 1827-28 and 1830-31 and is common in worn condition.

Recorded mintage: unknown but a common date.

Specification: copper, 22-28 mm diameter.
