This specimen was lot 698 in Sedwick Treasure Auction 28 (Winter Park, FL, November 2020), where it sold for $900. The catalog description[1] noted, "Buenos Aires, Argentina, 10 decimos, 1830, NGC MS 62 BN, ex-O'Brien. Attractive chocolate-brown color with traces of orange, choice (well-detailed) but slightly off-center strike, second finest known in NGC census behind a single MS 63 in RB (red-brown). Pedigreed to the John O'Brien collection (stated on label)." This type was struck 1827, 1828 and 1830 and is common in worn condition.

Recorded mintage: unknown but a common date.

Specification: copper, 12-15 g, 28-32 mm diameter.
