This specimen was lot 46036 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2024), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Brunswick. 1/6 Taler, 1790-MC. Brunswick Mint. Karl Wilhelm Ferdinand. PCGS Genuine--Tooled, Unc Details." This denomination was introduced in 1693 and most types featured the leaping stallion of Hannover. Both Karl I and his successor Karl Wilhelm Ferdinand struck this denomination. This type was struck for the duke 1780-1804 and is common.
