This specimen was lot 471 in Classical Numismatic Group's sale of the Lissner Collection (Chicago, August 2014), where it sold for $2,722.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY, Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel (Herzogtum). August Wilhelm. 1714-1731. AR Taler. Zellerfeld mint. Date 1725 EPH. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 62. Choice toned lustrous uncirculated. Exceptional strike. Purchased from M. Louis Teller, August 1984." This type is listed for 1714-30 and, while not rare, is not common either. The leaping stallion type (Dav-2127) is also listed for 1725.
