This specimen was lot 5057 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €750 (about US$969 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRAUNSCHWEIG-WOLFENBÜTTEL, FÜRSTENTUM, August Wilhelm, 1714-1731. Reichstaler 1721, Zellerfeld. Hübsche Patina, vorzüglich. (duchy of Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel, Augustus William, 1714-31, thaler of 1721, Zellerfeld mint. Handsome patina, extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1716-30 and is somewhat scarce. The duke also struck Dav-2126 (wild man thaler) in 1721.
