This specimen was lot 74474 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2023), where it sold for $168. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Brunswick. 6 Mariengroschen (1/6 Taler), 1682. Zellerfeld Mint. Rudolph August. PCGS AU-58. A well-struck example of this minor, with an even slate-gray patina. Attractive. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was struck 1668-84.
