This specimen was lot 55486 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Brunswick. 12 Mariengroschen, 1673. Zellerfeld Mint. Rudolph August. NGC AU-58." This type was struck 1668-84 and is a slightly scarce half gulden of Rudolph August. This specimen is a product of the Zellerfeld mint but is not mintmarked. The "wild man" design was popular in Brunswick and Hannover at the time and appeared on many different thalers and minors.
