This specimen was lot 73224 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2023), where it sold for $504. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Brunswick. Taler, 1638. Zellerfeld Mint; mm: crossed keys between HS. August "the Younger". PCGS AU-50. Rather deeply toned, with a great flair of originality and only light handling across the higher points. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was struck 1636-39 and is fairly common. Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel is famous for its long series of wild man thalers.
