This specimen was lot 5632 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €10,000 (about US$13,917 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRAUNSCHWEIG UND LÜNEBURG, BRAUNSCHWEIG-LÜNEBURG, FÜRSTENTUM, Georg Wilhelm, 1648-1665. Löser zu 1 1/4 Reichstalern 1664, Zellerfeld. Mit Wertpunze; Münzmeister Henning Schlüter. Geharnischtes Brustbild l. mit umgelegtem Mantel, oben der Braunschweiger Helm, umher Schriftkreis, außen 14 kleine, gekrönte Wappen auf Lorbeerzweigen, unten die geteilte Jahreszahl 16 - 64 und die geteilte Signatur H - S (Henning Schlüter, Münzmeister in Zellerfeld 1625-1672)//Hügelige Landschaft, im Vordergrund sitzt Pietas mit Buch in der Linken an einen Baum gelehnt, den Kopf nach r. zu der vor ihr stehenden Justitia mit Waage und Schwert gewandt, oben eine aus Wolken und Strahlen kommende Hand mit Lorbeerkranz. Sehr selten, besonders in dieser Erhaltung. Sehr attraktives, scharf ausgeprägtes Exemplar mit feiner Patina, vorzüglich. Aus der Sammlung eines Ingenieurs. Erworben 1968 von H. Priesmeier. (Germany, duchy of Brunswick-Luneburg-Calenberg, 1¼ thaler of 1664, Zellerfeld mint, with denomination punched in. Obverse: Armored bust left with the coat pulled down, the Braunschweiger helmet on top, legend around, on the outside 14 small, crowned coats of arms on laurel branches, below the divided year 16 - 64 and the divided signature H - S (Henning Schlüter, mint master in Zellerfeld 1625-1672); reverse: Hilly landscape, in the foreground Pietas sits leaning against a tree with a book in her left hand, her head facing right, turned to Justitia standing in front of her with scales and sword, above a hand with a laurel wreath emerging from clouds and rays. Very rare, especially in this condition. Very attractive, sharply struck specimen with fine patina, extremely fine.)"

Georg Wilhelm was promoted to duke of Brunswick-Luneburg-Celle on the death of his brother Christian Ludwig in 1665 and he ruled in Celle until 1705.
