This specimen was lot 322 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabrück, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €180 (about US$243 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, KURFÜRSTENTUM Friedrich III. 1688-1701. 1/3 Taler 1691, LCS, Berlin. R Randfehler, sehr schön. (Germany, electorate of Brandenburg, Frederick III, 1688-1701, one third thaler of 1691, Berlin mint. Scarce, rim nicks, very fine.)"
This type was struck at Berlin 1690-1700 and is rather expensive for a German minor, tho the issues of Prussia tend to be popular.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: silver.
Catalog reference: v. Schr. 354, KM 573.
