This is an example of a type struck 1816-25 at Potosi, Bolivia (then called Upper Peru). It superseded the bust of Carlos IV. Assayer PJ is recorded for 1803-24. This is listed as a common type, cheaper than Ferdinand VII four reales from Peru or Mexico, but this is the first one we have located for the Wiki.

Recorded mintage: 31,000.

Specification: 13.53 g, 0.896 fine silver, .389 troy oz ASW.
