This specimen was lot 75104 in Stack's Bowers June 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2026), where it sold for $1,098. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOLIVIA. Escudo, 1806-PTS PJ. Potosi Mint. Charles IV. PCGS EF-45. From the Richard August Collection." This type was struck 1791-1808 and receives little premium despite the paltry mintages. Assayer PJ is recorded for 1803-24.
