This specimen was lot 73348 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOLIVIA. Cob 1/2 Real, 1689-P. Potosi Mint. Charles II. PCGS EF-40. Attractively toned with a bold date. From the Sydney F. Martin Collection." Cayón lists this date with assayer VR but the cob half reales generally did not bear assayers' initials. This type is listed for 1667-1701 fairly cheaply but it does not turn up often.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
