This specimen was lot 448 in Áureo y Calicó sale 345 (Barcelona, March 2020), where it sold for €300 (about US$396 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"1626. Felipe IV. Potosí. (P). 8 reales. Ex Áureo 06/03/2001, nº 1502. Ex Colección Kurt Dym. Rara. MBC-. (Bolivia, Philip IV, 1621-65, eight reales of 1626, Potosí mint, about very fine.)"
This type was struck 1627-48. It was discovered about 1650 that many were illegally debased, causing a major scandal. This date is reported but not confirmed with assayer T.
