This specimen was lot 1788 in Stephen Album sale 37 (Santa Rosa, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $202.30. The catalog description[1] noted, "BELGIUM: Léopold I, 1831-1865, AE 10 centimes, 1853, Commemorative medallic issue - Marriage of the Duke of Brabant and the Archduchess Marie Henriette, with dies engraved by Leopold Wiener, NGC graded MS63 BR." This type was accompanied by a silver five francs for the dignitaries and gold hundred francs for the royalty. Tho consigned to the Unusual World Coins as a medal, enough are seen in circulated condition to suggest that the locals had no problem spending them.
