This specimen was lot 1046 in Sincona sale 18 (Zürich, May 2014), where it sold for CHF 72 (about US$95 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"5 Francs 1853. Auf die Hochzeit des Herzogs von Brabant. Fast vorzüglich-vorzüglich. (Belgium, five francs of 1853, on the wedding of the duke of Brabant, very fine to extremely fine.)"
This type is dismissed by the SCWC as a medal and not listed therein. Davenport mentions it and assigns it a number so we will include it.
