This specimen was lot 878 in Jean Elsen sale 138 (Brussels, September 2018), where it sold for €260 (about US$361 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BELGIQUE, Royaume, Léopold Ier (1831-1865), Cu 10 centimes, 1855. Rare Coup sur la tranche. Très Beau à Superbe. (kingdom of Belgium, Leopold I, 1831-65, copper ten centimes of 1855. Rare, rim nick, Very Fine to Extremely Fine.)"
This type was struck 1832-33, 1835, 1838, 1841, 1847-49 and 1855-56 and while readily available in worn condition, is quite scarce nice. This is a scarce date.
