This type was struck in Bavaria 1760-77 in Munich (shown here) and at Amberg (KM 519.2). These "Madonna" thalers were very popular among the inhabitants and many were made into religious pendants.

Recorded mintage: unknown but common.

Specification: 28.06 g, 0.833 fine silver.
