This specimen was lot 3122 in Sincona sale 18 (Zürich, May 2014), where it sold for CHF 900 (about US$1,186 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Doppelter Vereinstaler 1867. Wien. Vorzüglich. (Austria, double union thaler of 1867, extremely fine.)"
This scarce type was struck 1866-67 only and represents the last of the denomination.
