This specimen was lot 3296 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $95.20. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA: Ferdinand I, 1835-1848, AR 3 kreuzer, 1837-A, lightly toned, NGC graded MS65." This type was struck 1837-48 at four mints (A, B, C, E). Vienna is shown here. The denomination was changed to copper in 1851.
