This specimen was part of lot 4837 in Künker sale 441 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €360 (about US$495 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Karl VI., 1711-1740. 3 Kreuzer (Groschen) 1738, Hall. 1,62 g. M./T. 900. Dazu: 10 Kreuzer 1793 A, Wien. 2 Stück. Stempelglanz und vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. Aus der Sammlung eines sächsischen Naturwissenschaftlers. (Holy Roman Empire, Charles VI, 1711-40, three kreuzer or groschen of 1738, Hall mint, with a ten kreuzer of 1793, Vienna mint. Two pieces, uncirculated and extremely fine-uncirculated.)"

This type was struck 1792-97 at six mints: Vienna (A), Kremnitz (B), Prague (C), Karlsburg (E), Hall (F) and Nagybanya (G) although no mint struck these every year. These minors rarely turn up in auction lots.

Recorded mintage: unknown but fairly common.

Specification: 3.89 g, 0.500 fine silver, 23.5 mm diameter, decorated edge, this specimen 3,86 g.
