This specimen was lot 1119 in Jean Elsen sale 163 (Brussels, November 2025), where it sold for €95 (about US$110 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRABANT, Duché, Joseph II (1780-1790), AR demi-couronne, 1788 A, Vienne. Type brabançon. D/ T. l. à d. R/ Croix de Bourgogne entre trois couronnes, ornée du bijou de la Toison d'or. Nettoyée. (duchy of Brabant, Joseph II, 1780-90, silver half crown thaler of 1788, Vienna mint, Burgundian type. Obverse: laureate head right; reverse: Burgundian cross between three crowns, adorned with the jewel of the Golden Fleece. Cleaned, Very Fine.)

This type was struck 1786-90 at Vienna (shown here), Brussels, Milan and Kremnitz. This date is common.
