This specimen was lot 1982 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 450 CHF (about US$653 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR / ÖSTERREICH, Karl VI. 1711-1740. Taler 1738, Hall. Fast vorzüglich. Feine Patina. (Holy Roman Empire, Charles VI, 1711-40, thaler of 1738, Hall mint. About Extremely Fine, Nicely toned.)"
This type was struck 1730 and 1733-38 and is fairly common. Other thalers of 1738 include KM 1579.3/Dav-1038 (Vienna mint) and KM 1610.3/Dav-1042 (Graz mint).
