This specimen was lot 3028 in Sincona sale 23 (Zürich, May 2015), where it sold for 220 CHF (about US$276 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR/ÖSTERREICH, Karl VI. 1711-1740 Taler 1737. Hall. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Holy Roman Empire, Charles VI (1711-40), thaler of 1737, Hall mint, very fine to extremely fine.)"
The type was struck 1735-40 at Vienna (not Hall), along with similar types from Hall, Breslau and Graz.
Recorded mintage: 411,000.
Specification: 28.82 g, 0.875 fine silver, .810 troy oz ASW, this specimen 28.45 g.
