This specimen was lot 23112 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it sold for $1,057.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Karl VI Taler 1737 - 4 Below Bust, MS62 NGC, nicely toned with well-struck details, scarce in mint state." This type, a product of the Hall mint, was struck 1737 only but is not rare. Other Austrian thalers for 1737 include Dav-1038, Dav-1042 and Dav-1055.
Recorded mintage: 246,000 (including Dav-1055).
