This specimen was lot 854 in Stephen Album sale 50 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA: Leopold I, 1657-1705, AR thaler, 1695, Hall Mint, bold portrait, original toning, XF, ex Dr. Robert A. Rosenfeld Collection." This type was struck 1694-1704 and is one of Leopold's most common thalers. This date comes with and without initials "IAK".
