The first specimen was lot 3487 in Goldberg sale 85 (Los Angeles, June 2015), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Australia. Shilling, 1958. Elizabeth II. NGC graded Proof 66." The SCWC lists this type for 1955-64. This date, from the Melbourne mint, is common, tho proofs are scarce.
Recorded mintage: 7,412,000 plus 1,506 proofs.
Specification: 5.65 g, 0.500 fine silver, 24 mm diameter.
