This specimen was lot 1604 in Goldberg sale 128 (Los Angeles, June 2022), where it sold for $84. The catalog description[1] noted, "Australia. Penny, 1922. George V. PCGS graded AU-58." The type was struck 1911-36 at London, Calcutta, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Heaton. This date is expensive in choice condition.
Recorded mintage: 12,697,000 (Melbourne and Perth combined).
