This specimen was lot 3859 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $505.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRALIA: George V, 1910-1936, AR shilling, 1918-M, light smoky toning, fully lustrous, PCGS graded MS63." The type was struck 1911-36 at London, Melbourne (this specimen), Heaton and Sydney. This date is common up thru Extremely Fine.

Recorded mintage: 3,781,000.

Specification: 5.65 g, 0.925 fine silver, .168 troy oz ASW, 23.5 mm diameter, reeded edge, designed by E. B MacKennal and W. H. J. Blakemore.
