This specimen was lot 2270 in Goldberg sale 103 (Los Angeles, February 2018), where it sold for $340.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "Argentina. 10 Pesos, 2004. FIFA World Cup Championship-Germany. One year type. NGC graded Proof 67 Ultra Cameo." The coinage was reformed in 1970, 1983, 1985 and 1992. Argentina was to suffer from bouts of hyperinflation for the next forty years, impoverishing a once prosperous region. This type is accompanied by a silver five pesos (KM 146).

Recorded mintage: 25,000.

Specification: 6.75 g, 0.999 fine gold.
