This specimen was lot 949 in Sedwick sale 34 (Winter Park, FL, November 2023), where it sold for $1,140. The catalog description[1] noted, "Argentina (struck at the Madrid Mint), gold proof 10 pesos, 2021, FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, NGC PF 69 Ultra Cameo, finest and only example in NGC census. Nearly perfect as recently made (first example to be slabbed by NGC), no marks or spots but with faint hint of cloudiness in the 0." The current Argentine peso was introduced in 1992 with a value equal to one US dollar or 10,000 australes or ten trillion pesos of 1970. This ten pesos and the accompanying silver five pesos were struck in Madrid. At the current rate of exchange (November 2023), this coin has a face value of about one US cent.

Specification: 6.75 g, 0.900 fine gold, 23 mm diameter.
