This specimen was lot 482 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it sold for $2,640. The catalog description[1] noted, "DURRANI: Shah Shuja', 2nd reign at Kabul, 1803-1809, AV mohur, Bahawalpur, AH1218 year one (ahad), wonderful well-centered strike, without any weakness and glorious! NGC graded MS63." While Shah Shuja had gold mohurs struck at a number of mints in his domain, this style was struck only at Bahawalpur and only in year one.
