Regensburg 1776 pfenning
This specimen was lot 71433, in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2019), where it sold for $45. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Regensburg. Pfenning, 1776. PCGS Genuine--Environmental Damage, Unc Details Gold Shield. A rather deeply toned example of this small and crude type, exhibiting some damage as noted but is otherwise a pleasing representation." This type is listed for 1767 and 1774-79.
