Künker sale 335, lot 4221

This specimen was lot 4221 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €600 (about US$785 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"REGENSBURG, STADT, 1/2 Konv.-Taler 1774, mit Titel Josefs II. Mit kleinem Kopf. Slg. Bach (Auktion Künker 238) 4889. Herrliche Patina, vorzüglich. (Germany, city of Regensburg, half convention thaler of 1774, in the name of Joseph II, with small head. Handsome patina, extremely fine.)"
