Sincona sale 86, lot 1836

This specimen was lot 1836 in Sincona sale 86 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 8,500 CHF (about US$11,446 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Elizabeth II. 1952-2022. Proof 500 Pounds 2017, Royal Mint Llantrisant. Gold. the Queen's Beasts: The Lion of England. Very rare. Only 100 pieces struck. NGC PF69 ULTRA CAMEO. With original box and certificate. No. 24 of 100 limited edition presentation sets."
