Sincona sale 47, lot 2105

This specimen was lot 2105 in Sincona sale 47 (Zürich, May 2018), where it sold for 250 CHF (about US$300 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Heiliges Romisch Reich, Franz II. (I.), 1792-1835. Taler 1824 C, Prag. Fast FDC. (Holy Roman Empire, Austria, Francis I, 1792-1835, thaler of 1824, Prague mint. About uncirculated.)"

This thaler was issued 1817-24 from six mints and is common.

Recorded mintage: unknown but common.

Specification: 28.06 g, 0.833 fine silver, this specimen 28.04 g.
