This specimen was lot 6056 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $493.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA. Taler, 1824-A. Vienna Mint. NGC MS-63. An eye catching example with only the tiniest of bag marks to interrupt the full cartwheel luster gleaming from the untoned surfaces." This thaler was issued 1817-24 from six mints and is common.

Recorded mintage: unknown but common.
