This specimen was lot 10241 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €432 (about US$450). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. Krone, 1666. Copenhagen Mint. Frederik III. NGC AU Details--Cleaned. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type is noted for 1666 and is one of several kroner (Dav-3579 (shown here), -3579A, Dav-3580, -3580A, Dav-3581, -3581A and Dav-3582) issued that year. None are common. A krone was four mark or two-thirds speciedaler.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 22.27 g, 0.671 fine silver, 42 mm diameter, this specimen 21.55 g.
