Sincona sale 64, lot 3099

This specimen was lot 3099 in Sincona sale 64 (Zurich, June 2020), where it sold for 250 CHF (about US$313 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SWITZERLAND | Basel | Stadt und Kanton, Halbtaler 1765, Basel. Münzzeichen H unter der Wertangabe. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (city and canton of Basel, half thaler of 1765, Basel mint, mintmaster initial H. Very fine-extremely fine.)"

This issue also comes without the "H" mintmark.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: silver, this specimen 11.59 g.
