Sincona sale 65, lot 228

This specimen was lot 228 in Sincona sale 65 (Zurich, October 2020), where it sold for 1,400 CHF (about US$1,843 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"2 Kopecks 1850, Ekaterinburg Mint, EM. NGC MS64 BN. (2 копейки 1850, Екатеринбургский МД, ЕM. 10,25 г. Биткин 596. В слабе NGC MS64 BN.) Ex auction SINCONA AG 24, Zurich, October 2015, lot 746. Collector's note: "Unc toned" (С аукциона Синкона АГ 24, Цюрих, октябрь 2015, лот 746. Заметки коллекционера: «Не были в обращении, патина»)."

This type was struck at Ekaterinburg (shown here) and Warsaw 1850-59. The SCWC lists it as common.
