This specimen was lot 391 in Sincona sale 84 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 2,600 CHF (about US$3,501 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RUSSIA Russian Empire and Federation, 20 Kopecks 1850, St. Petersburg Mint, SPB PA. NGC MS65. Cabinet piece from polished dies."

This type was struck 1832-58; the denomination was reduced to 3.6 g, 0.500 fine in 1867.

Recorded mintage: 3,075,000.

Specification: 4.14 g, 0.868 fine silver, this specimen 4.08 g.
