This specimen was lot 43446 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "SPAIN. 2 Maravedis, 1775. Segovia Mint. Charles III. NGC MS-63 Red Brown." This type was issued at Segovia 1772-88. The SCWC lists this date as common but it is seldom seen at American coin shows. Madrid issues are noted as rare.
