This specimen was lot 31057 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2022), where it sold for $1,680. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOLIVIA. 4 Escudos, 1793-PTS PR. Potosi Mint. Charles IV. PCGS EF-40. Though displaying some evidence of handling and circulation, this example is problem free and demonstrates a wholesome originality to it. A solid and presentable example of this RARELY encountered date. From the Mark and Lottie Salton Collection."
