France 1813-A 2 francs
This specimen was lot 13126 in Ponterio sale 177 (Chicago, August 2013), where it sold for $822. The catalog description[3] noted, "FRANCE. 2 Franc, 1813-A. PCGS MS-62." The specimen shown is from Paris and is a common date. It is priced[2] about 25% higher than the commonest date (1811A). Many issues of this type are known from a handful (<10) of examples.
