This specimen was lot 1182 in Sincona sale 79 (Zurich, October 2022), where it sold for 7,500 CHF (about US$8,989 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN | Königreich, James II. 1685-1688. Guinea 1687, London. Second laureate bust, with elephant and castle below. NGC AU53." The first bust was used 1685-86, the second bust was used 1686-88. Both come with or without the elephant and castle below the truncation.
